What are your favourite kids party themes?

Having recently become a grandmother to a beautiful little baby girl, I am already mentally planning all her birthday parties for at least the next 10 years!

Finding exciting, fun ideas are quite easy with the help of search engines and Pinterest. I'll post several balloon decor inspirations for my favourite themes. There are some amazing blogs that can inspire us, too. I have added a few links to blogs that I have found very useful whilst  doing my research.

I found plenty of great ideas for little girls parties, some more obvious than others. Everything from princess, ballerina's and mermaids or how about the not so obvious, circus or ice cream, these are great themes, too! A lot of these themes can work for boys parties too. And what about bar and bat mitzvahs?

Ice Cream-Theme

5" & 11" ‟Sorbet Collection”.

Let's start with ice cream! The great thing about this theme is the wonderful colours that we can use! Have you seen the Qualatex® ‟Sorbet Assortment” that is available in both 5" and 11" latex balloons? This balloon collection is perfect for an ice cream-themed party!

10 {Tasty!} Ice-Cream Party Ideas

Here are some fabulous ice cream-themed centrepiece ideas created by Tanya Joselowsky, CBA of The Pop, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Everything coordinates at this party, from the balloons to the chair covers and table napkins. It looks fun, exciting, and very professional. Great job, Tanya!

Tanya uses ‟Big Polka Dots” and SuperAgates to give her decor that  ‟sprinkles and swirls” effect.

I love the idea of the upside-down ice cream cone.

We have some great new ice cream-themed Microfoil® balloons in the Qualatex range!

Cam Woody, CBA, of Pioneer® Balloon Company, created this wonderful ‟Sweet Treat Birthday” design that shows off the lovely new  36" ‟Birthday Ice Cream Truck” on a cluster base topped with a fantastic ice cream cone!

QBN® members can learn how to make this arrangement by logging into ‟Instruction Sheets” on Qualatex.com.

Cam uses the same ice cream cone as a base for this ‟Delicious Birthday Wishes” arrangement, topped with a Deco Bubble Gumball with a handmade ice cream cone at the base, which for me adds tremendous value along with the new 18" ‟Birthday Striped Awning” Microfoil balloons.

QBN members can learn how to make this arrangement by logging into ‟Instruction Sheets” on Qualatex.com.

This is a lovely, fun design once again featuring the new 36" shape and coordinating 18" Microfoil balloon.

For the material lists for each of these designs, check out Balloons to Go in the Jan/ Feb/Mar 2016 issue of Images magazine.

A huge thank you to Tanya for sharing her creativity and inspiration with the Very Best Balloon Blog!

Happy Ballooning!
