Thursday 17th of March is St. Patrick's Day, celebrated by many around the world.
I remember when we used to attend the International Balloon Arts Convention (IBAC) in Chicago. Each year we would visit the city to see the Chicago River turn green. What a truly awesome sight!
So with that in mind, here are a few ideas that are perfect for St. Patrick's Day celebrations.
Probably the most iconic symbol for St. Patrick's Day is the shamrock. Fiona Fisher, CBA, created this stunning shamrock using Qualatex QuickLink Balloons®
An Instruction Sheet for this design us accessible to QBN members. QBN members click HERE for a direct link to the recipe.
The legend says that if you catch a leprechaun, you can force him to tell you where he hid his pot of gold. Supposedly, this pot of gold is hidden at the end of a rainbow. ... The good-natured leprechaun soon became a symbol of St. Patrick's Day and Ireland in general.
Here are some great balloon bouquet ideas. I love the 18" "Smiley Face Green," with the 11" Assorted Lime Green and Emerald Green "St. Patrick's Day!" along with the new 35" "Cheers! Beer Mug."
Cam Woody, of Pioneer Balloon Company has created these two fabulous St Patrick's Day Bouquets.
Here are a couple of little characters that I made some time ago that I think will be perfect for St. Patrick's Day deliveries! - sadly, appears that the Smiley Face Green has been discontinued, this could easily be replaced with the Smiley Face Yellow balloon.
How about making one of these adorable Lucky Leprechauns!
