Everyone loves confetti and confetti-filled balloon decor, it is still very much a hot trend. But how many of us struggle to get the confetti inside a 5" balloon?
5" confetti-filled balloons look fabulous in centrepieces, and are perfect for organic style decor, too, like this beautiful organic decor created by Shannon Kilford of Born To Party in Sydney, Australia — It really adds a sparkle to this beautiful balloon installation!
So to help you make these fabulous 5" confetti balloons, I have made a short video to show you how easy it is!

You will need:
- 5" Diamond Clear Latex Balloons
- Hand Pump
- Confetti
- Cloth
- Castration tool/castrating ring pliers/economy castration bander; the 4-prong version is the best. Probably the easiest way to find a supplier is to search the Internet using any of the keywords that I used above.

Love these instructions! Please share your source for the confetti and the type of confetti you use. I have never been successful in getting static to hold the confetti in place no matter how I try. It either flat out doesn't stick or if it does it falls off very soon afterwards.I've gotten good results with a bsmall dose of Hi-Float inside.
Thankyou for this blog, can you use balloon shine and the static tecnique?
@ Janice - the confetti that I used in the demonstration is called Raindrops and I buy it from
https://www.sfxsupplies.co.uk/collections/confetti - Balloon Market also sells confetti as do other wholesalers in the UK.
Charging a latex balloon with static is pretty easy, much easier than in a Bubble Balloon. Try different fabrics, wool or synthetic will work. Static is hard to build in very humid conditions. HiFloat will work every time but not so easy in a 5" :)
@Olivia - to be honest I am not sure, but I will try. I have many of these to make later this week, so I will do a test and get back to you :)
I use jiffy wrap system to make conferti filled with latex ballons..very very good
I love this place in particular, it always has the best and impressive events every year. This venue is the perfect location if you are looking to host the event of a lifetime. The main-level of venues in NYC features a large comfortable space.
