Add Some Glamour to Your Next Event with Confetti-Filled Deco Bubbles

Give your clients something fresh with these sparkly Qualatex Deco Bubbles. These confetti-filled bubbles are the perfect addition to any glitzy and glamorous event!

I really enjoy adding these gorgeous confetti-filled Bubbles to my designs! The design above was created for a corporate event, and the client absolutely loved them! Standing over two meters tall, these Sculptured Columns were the star of the show and so much fun to design and make! I used the 20" and 24" Deco Bubbles in the centre of the design, and the top balloon was a 3' Qualatex Diamond Clear latex balloon.

To learn how to create the confetti-filled Bubble, watch the video tutorial!

Material List
  • Qualatex Deco Bubble 20" or 24"
  • Metallic Confetti - I prefer 6mm x 6mm square cut (click HERE to see my UK supplier)
  • Plastic Funnel
  • Hi-Float
  • Chopstick or similar
  • 260Q balloon to tie off the Bubble
  • Pump
Here are more examples of confetti-filled Deco Bubbles:

It is clear from the photographs above that these fantastic balloons can be utilised in so many ways and for all kinds of themed events. Who doesn't love a touch of sparkle?

Yes, It Is Possible To Make 5" Confetti-Filled Balloons!

Everyone loves confetti and confetti-filled balloon decor, it is still very much a hot trend. But how many of us struggle to get the confetti inside a 5" balloon?

5" confetti-filled balloons look fabulous in centrepieces, and are perfect for organic style decor, too, like this beautiful organic decor created by Shannon Kilford of Born To Party in Sydney, Australia — It really adds a sparkle to this beautiful balloon installation!

So to help you make these fabulous 5" confetti balloons, I have made a short video to show you how easy it is!

You will need:

  • 5" Diamond Clear Latex Balloons
  • Hand Pump
  • Confetti
  • Cloth
  • Castration tool/castrating ring pliers/economy castration bander; the 4-prong version is the best. Probably the easiest way to find a supplier is to search the Internet using any of the keywords that I used above.

How to make a Confetti-Filled Deco Bubble with Ultra Hi-Float - Step-by-Step Video

Confetti Deco Bubble Balloons

Everyone loves confetti-filled balloons, and that includes the fabulous Qualatex® Deco Bubbles, too! I know that many of you are using the static method to stick your confetti to the inside of the Bubble, however, as we also know, this does not always work. Or the static drops out of the Bubble when moved to a new environment. Here is a surefire way to make sure that the confetti stick and stay in position.

Check out the instructions below and then watch the video clip for a demonstration on how to do this technique.

INGREDIENTS
• ULTRA HI-FLOAT®
• 20
" or 24" Deco Bubble
• Mylar or foil confetti
• A kitchen/canning funnel

20" Deco Confetti Balloon

1) Add a ½ squirt of ultra HIFLOAT with purple clip on pump.
2) Rub the outside of the Deco Bubble to spread the coating over the inside surface.
3) Blow a puff of air into the Bubble so the sides of the balloon are not touching.
4) Add about a ¼ cup of chopped mylar confetti.
5) Inflate the Bubble with helium to about the size of a soccer ball.
6) Shake the Bubble vigorously to spread the confetti uniformly inside.
7) Fully inflate the Bubble with helium and tie.

24" Deco Confetti Balloon

1) Add 1 squirt ultra HIFLOAT with purple clip on pump.
2) Rub the outside of the Deco Bubble to spread the coating over the inside surface.
3) Blow a puff of air into the Bubble so the sides of the balloon are not touching.
4) Add about a ½ cup of chopped mylar confetti.
5) Inflate the Bubble with helium to about the size of a soccer ball.
6) Shake the Bubble vigorously to spread the confetti uniformly inside.
7) Fully inflate the Bubble with helium and tie.
Note: When inflating a Deco Bubble with confetti, safety glasses are recommended.

I hope that this helps some of you?

Happy Ballooning!
